Project Description

The Union County Historical Society’s Annual Picnic took place on September 11, 2016, in the backyard of the Hanson House, as highlighted in Newsletter Issue #133. Blessed with pleasant weather, the event welcomed over thirty members and guests who enjoyed grilled food, fellowship, and even two antique cars on display from the Herb Singe Museum. UCHS President Charles Shallcross led a brief business session, which included the introduction of a proposed slate of officers and a fun-filled quiz on citizenship questions. The afternoon captured the spirit of camaraderie and appreciation for local history that defines the UCHS community.
